AIESEC Ajmer’s Office: We just got a new address

From the day of it’s foundation, April 22, 2009, AIESECers in Ajmer had been conducting their meetings at different places everytime; Mango Masala and Adarsh Nagar Park to name a few. : )

The need of an office, where AIESEC Ajmer can do all their stuff was greatly felt everyday. To control, manage and recruit from a single functional location was very crucial.

At last, on August 8, 2010, we got a permanent address at:

AIESEC Ajmer Office. C/O Global College of Management and Synergy, Kutchey Road, Ajmer

A (very well deserved) celebration was organized on the occasion. The Chief Guests were our members from Board Of Directors, Director Professor Shri Ishwar Tharany, and Vice Principal Ma’am Sindhu Bhagi, Global College of Management and Synergy. We are very grateful to our Board Of Directors for their constant support and motivation which is indespensible for us. The ribbon was cut, followed by sweet distribution, and needless to say jives (which is our very own way to celebrate success).

We are also thankful to Shray Rai Tiwari and Vaibhav Sharma, members of AIESEC Jaipur. Mere presence of the members of our parent committee gives us motivation and much more.

What is AIESEC? And why join it?

All right, before we begin, let the official sources have their say first:

Let’s start from step zero: A person is willing to serve the society, reach the deprived; but does not know how to? What AIESEC can do: Recruit him as a member of one of our departments, dedicated to social sector. AIESEC empowers him, and he can use his skills and talents.

Another case: I am a student in so-and-so college. I want more exposure in my particular field. How can AIESEC help me? AIESEC provides internship opportunities unlike anyone, connecting you with the like-minded people from the whole World. At the same time, you learn, you grow, you network and you globalize.

AIESEC holds several high-profile partnerships, among them with companies like Alcatel, ABN AMRO, Cadbury Schweppes, DHL, Facebook, Electrolux, AB InBev, PwC, Enterprise Asia, HP,Microsoft, Cisco Systems and UBS. These partnerships are mainly related to presence of these partners at AIESEC’s forums, and provision of talent from AIESEC to these partners. AIESEC provides global talent sourcing for AB InBev, Alcatel Lucent, and DHL.

With AIESEC you get the right platform to meet the right people, who direct you in the right direction.

Every organization means different things to different people. And when it’s AIESEC, two opinions can’t differ more. So we have over 67000+ different views and opinions. But each AIESEC member and alumni, share a common vision of leadership, opportunity and global citizenship.

AIESECers are exceptionally active and socially aware. They have created successful professional careers and touched personal lives. Kofi Annan (Ex-Secretary General UN), Ratan Tata, Adi Godrej, Nandan Nilkeni – examples just won’t end if you take a look at AIESEC Alumni list.

AIESEC Ajmer started on April 22, 2009. It is currently an expansion of AIESEC Jaipur. We hope to see more and more talent in the future. It has been a wonderful journey so far, and we are raring to go and create the change desired.
